Courtesy of Sean Fitzgerald we are presented with yet another predictor - that of web 2.0 as a platform and internet descriptor as falling short of where we are really headed as educators engaging with the world wide web.
I’m taken with this attack on linearity …..the lack of need to write lengthy papers and posts to describe what the web was designed to do in the first place . After all, it’s kind of strange isnt it….the idea that within six months so much of the internet and e-learning has leapt and bounded ahead yet again !
Sean has facilitated many sessions on the use of web 2.0 technology in the context of teaching and learning for NSW LearnScope and his wiki is second to none….very worth visiting and it’s good to keep the communication channels open especially considering Sean’s commitment to anything but the read-write web.
