Well ……………today was a mad dash from Sydney to Orange, NSW in the ute, to get into Jo Kay and Sean Fitzgerald’s Second Life Orientation Workshops.
I failed to register my name in the NSW LearnScope wiki so in effect I gate crashed.
So did Second Life.
Four times on me so I had to re-boot and teleport from space to space with the help of Jo - superwoman !
Sean did his best to ignore my antics on the lounge …..seriously it was the lag time that made me do it.

Second Life has so many real applications for learners and educators alike hence the number of teams exploring it’s application this year Users get to connect and collaborate together in live time and with so many great things to explore.
Jo and Sean are the champions of this area and I thank them both for making a supreme effort for growing our wiki resources ( the principle of open web publishing ) and for bearing with a bunch of ….dare I say it……”newbies” trying hard to keep up with the many features of SL. I even saw Shane Dowd in there …..was it really Shane Dowd ?????
I can see why the prediction is for the web to be fast going this 3D immersive MMORPG way.
Oh…….and I also put together some musings on the topic.
