I was feeling a little low this afternoon coming out of yet another workshop battling concepts with peers who face institutional policy driven mandates which strangle and restrict learning.
Lucky it’s a learning curve and change is effected in bureaucracy ever so slowly but it does eventually happen.
I was heartened however to return to the email list ( yes I wont complain again lest the email fairy gets me good and proper ) to read a nice thank you from the Daryn McKenny, General Manager of the Arwarbukarl Cultural Resource Association Inc. in Newcastle, NSW, Australia.
My contribution was simply to avail a mere fraction of my time and look at the result - a flash blog, podcast plugin and some awesome new open resource area online for Indigenous learners and organizations alike……..I’m inspired. This is true capability building.
This has made my day and I’ve added it to the Parnngurr Community WikiEducator project page which I’m hoping can network with this mob amongst many.
