As always Howard twists and turns refusing to be boxed into a particular stream of thinking - ever elusive, shocking and poignant. There were the comments about cyber-porn that really stuck amongst vague references to teaching and engaging students who would otherwise have no voice in the web.
Overall, I thought the lunch was average, there was a distinct lack of bloggers and buzz-tweeters and there was also a need for more interactivity other than questions and answers. There were lots of references to Secondlife yet visuals supporting this rhetoric were noticeably absent.
The Australian Flexible Learning Framework were present and represented and overall I’d have rather have been at a NSW LearnScope regional event accept for Howard’s digestion of all things web 2.0
Four $ stars.
What is a buzz-tweeter. Great Name! I would love to know what it means.
Cheers,
Diane
