I received this email from Peter yesterday who was part of our original SAE team in 2006 who’s now at the progressive SAE Institute in Dubai.

This is a classic example of how interactive media and open web publishing come together in a powerful fusion for students and teachers alike …..if only our organizations would acknowledge it and use popular platforms like YouTube for these sorts of projects…..so why’s it blocked in so many places ?

Here is a project I have been working on for my degree at SAE Dubai. This is the finished mix, all the audio has been edited and mixed to fit with the visual and punctuate changes in mood and movement through the vision. The speed of the video was sped up to accommodate the faster pace of todays music. There is some MIDI in there for effect also but the idea was to tell the story of the Apprentice (MM) through music using contemporary dance music instead of classical as done in the original.
