I’m personally not affected by such bans on MySpace and Facebook as they are blocked in my managing organization.
That is the reality.
However, and perhaps these spaces are the new face of business and even perhaps a great number of employers are using these online social networking spaces to conduct business.
Robyn and I spend an awful lot of time however looking for ways to advocate for the realistic use of such spaces with learners that include these afore mentioned platforms and have had a mixed bag of responses.
We seek spaces that are usable and petition for their use in an educational and related industry context.
